This policy explains when a customer may request cancellation of an order and when cancellation may no longer be available because B S Shipping Containers or an independent third-party carrier has already taken material steps to process, prepare, schedule, dispatch, or arrange delivery of the order.

Order Cancellation Requests

Customers may contact B S Shipping Containers to request cancellation of an order. Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible after an order is placed.

A cancellation request does not automatically constitute a cancellation. B S Shipping Containers must first determine the current fulfillment and transportation status of the order.

If the order has not yet entered material fulfillment or transportation processing, B S Shipping Containers may be able to accommodate the cancellation request, subject to the applicable terms of the customer’s order.

Orders That Have Entered Processing

Once an order has entered fulfillment or transportation processing, cancellation may no longer be available.

This may occur when B S Shipping Containers or a third-party service provider has taken material steps to fulfill or transport the order, including but not limited to:

• The container has been allocated or reserved for the customer
• Preparation, inspection, cleaning, modification, or other work has begun
• Transportation arrangements have been requested, booked, or confirmed
• A third-party carrier has been assigned
• Shipping or delivery documentation has been prepared
• The shipment has been registered with the carrier
• The shipment has been scheduled for transportation or delivery
• The shipment has been dispatched
• The carrier has established routing or delivery arrangements
• The carrier has otherwise accepted or committed to the transportation arrangement
• Other non-reversible or non-refundable fulfillment or transportation steps have occurred

Cancellation After Carrier Processing

Once a shipment has been processed, registered, scheduled, dispatched, or otherwise committed with an independent third-party carrier, B S Shipping Containers may be unable to withdraw, cancel, recall, or otherwise reverse the transportation arrangement.

The customer’s request to cancel an order after these steps have occurred does not guarantee that the carrier will be able to cancel or reverse the shipment.

Where the carrier or other service provider is no longer able to reasonably reverse the transportation arrangement, B S Shipping Containers may be unable to cancel the shipment.

For example:

“Unfortunately, we’re unable to cancel the shipment at this stage. The shipment has already been processed, registered, scheduled, dispatched, or otherwise committed with the carrier, and the transportation arrangement can no longer reasonably be reversed. As a result, we are unable to withdraw or cancel the shipment at this point.”

Carrier and Third-Party Transportation Arrangements

When B S Shipping Containers arranges transportation through an independent third-party carrier, the carrier may begin its own operational processes immediately after accepting or processing a shipment.

These processes may include booking, registration, dispatching, routing, scheduling, documentation, equipment allocation, and other transportation-related activities.

Because these activities are controlled by the independent carrier, B S Shipping Containers cannot guarantee that a shipment can be cancelled once the carrier has begun processing it.

Costs Associated With Cancellation

If a customer requests cancellation after fulfillment or transportation processing has begun, the customer may remain responsible for applicable non-recoverable costs, fees, or obligations that have already been incurred in connection with the order, to the extent permitted by the applicable sales agreement and law.

These may include, where applicable:

• Carrier cancellation fees
• Transportation or freight charges
• Dispatch or booking fees
• Storage charges
• Re-delivery charges
• Return transportation charges
• Preparation or modification costs
• Non-refundable third-party charges
• Other costs that cannot reasonably be recovered or reversed

B S Shipping Containers will determine the status and applicable costs based on the circumstances of the specific order.

Delivery Changes After Processing

Changes requested after transportation arrangements have been processed may be treated differently from ordinary order cancellations.

Changes to a delivery address, delivery instructions, delivery date, or other transportation details may result in additional carrier charges or may not be possible once the shipment has been dispatched or otherwise committed.

Any applicable additional charges imposed by an independent carrier may be the customer’s responsibility unless B S Shipping Containers has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Customer Responsibility to Review Orders

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order information, product specifications, delivery address, contact information, and other applicable details before placing an order.

Customers should contact B S Shipping Containers as soon as possible if they need to change or cancel an order.

Prompt notice may increase the possibility that a cancellation or modification can be accommodated before fulfillment or transportation processing begins.

No Guaranteed Right to Cancel After Material Processing

Placement of an order does not create an unlimited right to cancel the order at any time.

Once B S Shipping Containers or an independent third-party service provider has taken material steps to fulfill or transport the order, cancellation may no longer be available.

The ability to cancel depends on the current stage of fulfillment, the status of transportation arrangements, the ability of third-party providers to reverse their actions, applicable third-party requirements, and the terms governing the customer’s order.

Written Order Terms Control

Nothing in this policy modifies or overrides the terms of a specific written quotation, sales agreement, invoice, purchase order accepted by B S Shipping Containers, or other written agreement between B S Shipping Containers and the customer.

Where a specific written agreement contains cancellation, refund, fulfillment, transportation, or delivery terms that differ from this policy, the applicable written agreement will govern to the extent permitted by law.
